Nuria Lynch-Comer, MSW, LCSW, is a graduate of New York University with more than 30 years of experience in the mental health field. In addition to providing psychotherapy, she has served as a clinical supervisor and field instructor for Master of Social Work students, supporting the next generation of clinicians.
Bilingual and bicultural, Ms. Lynch-Comer speaks both Spanish and English. As an immigrant, a woman, and a person of color, she brings a deep awareness of how race, gender identity, culture, and ethnicity shape an individual’s lived experience. This sensitivity is central to the therapeutic relationship she builds with each client. Ms. Lynch-Comer is known for her empathic, supportive style. She draws on a range of evidence-based practices—including CBT, DBT, MBSR, and other integrative modalities—to help clients create meaningful change. Her work focuses on healing past trauma, strengthening relationships, enhancing self-awareness, developing effective coping strategies, and improving self-esteem and self-image. She is committed to empowering clients to lead more authentic, fulfilling lives. |
