Nuria Lynch-Comer (MSW, LCSW) is a graduate of New York University. In addition to providing psychotherapy, Ms, Lynch-Comer has worked as a clinical supervisor, and a field instructor for students pursuing a Master’s of Social Work degree.
Ms. Lynch-Comer has over 25 years of experience in the mental health field. She is bilingual and bicultural; she speaks Spanish and English. As an immigrant, a woman, and a person of color, Ms. Lynch-Comer is sensitive to how race, gender identity, culture, and ethnicity colors each person’s experiences and brings this awareness into the healing relationship. Ms. Lynch-Comer is an empathic, supportive therapist. She utilizes a variety of tools to empower her clients to live more fulfilling lives. Some of her areas of expertise include: healing past trauma, improving relationships, developing greater self-awareness, building effective coping skills, and improving self-esteem and self-image. Nuria Lynch-Comer uses an integrative approach which incorporates evidenced based practices such as CBT, DBT, MBSR, and other modalities. |
